Where do you get your data?

We collect and curate data from multiple resources. Below is a list of the data providers we use:

INRIX - traffic data.
U.S. Census Bureau - demographics, psychographics, and spending data.
American Community Survey - demographics data.
Federal Financial Institutions Examination - demographics data.
U.S. Social Security - demographics data.
GfK Mediamark Research & Intelligence LLC - demographics, and psychographics data.
Synergos - workplace data including employee counts and wages.

Search Engine Demand
This is a proprietary dataset we’ve built based on Google search engine marketing data. We request search volume for keywords related to your business categories from Google (ex. car wash near me, where to go for burgers, etc.) for your specified areas.

Social Media Demand
Much like our Search Engine Demand data, this is built based on consumer interest such as likes, clicks, what people have watched, and other interactions generated from Facebook and other social media platforms.

Weekly Per Capita Spending
This dataset is built from BLS Consumer Expenditure (CE) surveys and is calculated from the average weekly spend per person living in a household. Spending consists of transaction costs including the excise and sale taxes of goods and services acquired during the CE survey period. Goods and services include gifts but exclude purchases or portions of purchases for business purposes. Also excluded are periodic credit or installment payments on goods and services already acquired.

Demographics
Our demographics data sourced from Synergos STI: PopStats, provides the highest level of accuracy by using a ZIP + 4 source data along with data from the U.S. Census and field tests. We capture quarterly population trends and future forecast for seasonal, transient, mortgage-risk, and many other types of datasets.
